You should have only a few items on the counter tops, not only to make the kitchen appear more spacious and clean but also to allow the good energy to flow. If your counter tops are not in the best condition possible, replace them and you will see a return on this investment - especially if your wise in your material/color selection. Ask a professional stager or designer for help in choosing the right material that will appeal to the most buyers.
Kitchens are key to making a sale and much attention should be placed in this area of your home. Look at a few design magazine and notice what props are used for the layout. It's quite easy and accessible to locate many examples of a desirable kitchen.
